Data Backup & Business Continuity
We know how important it is to safeguard your data with Business Continuity Planning. To secure the future of your business, you need to protect your data from man-made as well as natural disasters. It’s important to realize that you can’t control the weather or other peoples’ actions. How prepared is your business for an event, for example, a fire? – it can seriously damages your IT infrastructure. We will collaborate with you to develop and implement a plan that protects your data and enables you to resume operations quickly when faced with a natural disaster or human error. We can scale your plans from only the bare necessities to full replacement office, depending on your needs and budget.

It’s also important to remember that Disaster Recovery is not Business Continuity. When it comes to protecting your data, it’s vital to understand that these are two different concepts. The mix-up of the terms could result in organizations being left at a significant risk due to insufficient planning. According to IBM: “…in 2011, of the companies that had a major loss of business data, 43 percent never reopen, 51 percent close within two years and 6 percent will survive long-term.” Disaster Recovery, although a huge, but is a subset of overall Business Continuity. It is the process of saving data, keeping in mind of being able to recover it in the event of a disaster. Disasters in IT range from minor (loss of an important data) to major (loss of servers or entire data center). From the panic point-of-view, pressure, pain and extent of a disaster – either minor or major – could seem very similar.
